Our Morning Walk

// August 29th, 2005 // 6 Comments » // Uncategorized

I must assume that it is politically incorrect these days to buy a dog from a pet store based on the reaction I get when I answer the “where did you get them” question. This morning while walking Bingo and CousCous a lady who was walking her very cute French Bulldog asked me if I ” saved their lives” or got them from a breeder. When I told her that they were store bought the look of discust on her face made me want to bow my head in shame and walk away with my tail between my legs. I’m afraid one day soon someone is going to throw a bucket of red paint on me.

On a lighter note the Monkeys spent the rest of the morning playing together in their new exercise pen and are now napping. I think CousCous’s motherly instincts are kicking in. Though Pepper will not get any milk from Cous he is getting lots of licks and body heat. They are curled up together in her crate right now catching some Zzz’s…

Introducing Pepper, The newset addition to our little family

// August 29th, 2005 // No Comments » // Uncategorized

On Sunday August 28th Jimi and I decided to add a new member to our family. He is a 11 week old Italian Greyhound that we got from Le Petite Puppy at 18 Christopher Street in NYC but he originaly comes from Mclond, Oaklahoma. His biological mothers name is B-Dazzled Sophie and his fathers name is Tanbrook Quick Silver Kid. No wonder he ended up on Christopher Street! He was an impulsive purchase but we are so excited to have him. He fit’s right in with our other pets collectivly known as The Monkeys.

There is CousCous who is a female Basenji, Bingo who is also a male Italian Greyhound and I can’t forget our three cats Stupid, Criquet, and Patch Kit. Yes, we will be pitching our reality show to HBO this fall – stay tuned!
